We took our car in for a low idle when placed in drive and a few other issues. After telling us that we needed close to $600 of repairs due to a leaking valve cover gasket that was causing the problem, we decided not to do the repair. Then they said the car now wouldn't crank and that we needed to do the repairs to get it running again. We declined had the car towed out of there and then found out that the car was getting no spark and needed a new distributor. Did they cause the fault in the distributor? Who knows, but they should have known the difference between a firing and non-firing spark plug. Ridiculous customer service as well. |
