This guy is the best of the best, Paul from Autobuff did the brakes all around on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe and also did the alternator on my 2006 Lincoln Town car. The convenience alone of having him come out to me and do the work on site or at my home is worth its' weight in Gold. Who wants to go to a shop and wait around, I certainly don't. When the alternator on my Lincoln broke down, I was stranded near o'hare at the gas station on York & Irving during a bad snow story. Paul came down and met me there, diagnosed the problem, went and got the part and fixed it on site in the freezing cold. That really saved me a bundle, the cost of a tow alone would have been at least $150.00 & I know for a fact that a repair shop would have charged me a whole lot more that Paul did. I would recommend him to anyone needing a honest hard working great mechanic that makes house calls. Paul from autobuff is the best and worth every dollar they charge and then some. |

Paul provides great service. He was able to tune and adjust my '83 yamaha enduro, it runs like new, fast service 2 days, and he picked up and delivered. honest and professional. I found him on craigslist and came here to read his reviews... he lives up to the praise. very satisfied. thanks paul. Tom M. |

Paul is very knowledgable, prompt and an overall pleasure to deal with. He had my used XT225 bike fixed in two days and it's running great! My bike wasn't running, so a big plus for me was pick-up and delivery service. Since shops can be a pain to deal with (expensive, slow, lousy attitudes) I'd highly recommend Paul as an alternative. |

Paul is the man!!! He turned my bike aound so quick that I got whiplash. He is very professional and honest. I have a 1993 Honda Nighthawk that was in need for a new exhaust and a little pep. I had Paul install a Vance&Hines 4 into 1 exhaust and a jet kit, he even said he would install a new set of plugs as long as he had the tank off and I picked them up. Sweet. He cleaned out the carbs, tuned it up and got it running like new. My bike has not run this well ever, and the price was great. I would recommend Paul to anyone who asks about bike repair. WOW.. my FIRst mistake was taking my motorcycle to...well maybe i shouldnt say.. (lets just say theres a place on the northside NEAR lane tech high school)and they were HORRIBLE ! my bike was there for 11 days and they never even LOOKED at it! i kinda figured something was up when i first went, they acted as if THEY were doing ME a favor by having my bike there. anyway PAULY is AWESOME!! i took my bike there.. had an oil leak fixed, a chain gaurd put on, gear cover installed AND my carbeurators taken off, cleaned and everything for: $315 i COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! my motorcycle runs like new. I also got the bike back in like 2 days! I should also add he was VERY professional AND a nice guy!i can't say enough good things about this guy.i saved his number in my cell phone in case i ever need him again. |

Big Paul Is the guy to go to! I had mad the mistake of taking my Harley Fatboy to 2 other guys on CL that were cheaper. I found ou the hard way that you truly get what you pay for. Not only did Paul fix the other guys mistakes he took care of my original problem and my Hog is perfect now. He aslo picked up and delivered my bike which is perfect because of my busy schedule. Pauly is the guy to go to. Thanks again Pauly. |

Big Paul Rocks... He made my VTX 1300 purrr like a cat, all within a 3 hour window. He even picked up and dropped off! He gets my vote! And, all my referrals... |

Paul was very punctual, honest, and fast. What he said might take him an hour, only took him about 20 minutes. I just bought a 1969 mercedes and he checked it all out and explained everything to me. He was very reasonable with his rates. He also came to me to change a battery, which made my life much easier. I didn't have to wait for a jump or a tow and drive it somewhere where they would charge me twice as much. I am definitely going to call him in the future for all my repairs. I will also refer him to all of my friends in the Chicago area. Definitely a pleasure to do business with. |

big pauly is awesome! He not only brought my 64 impala back to life he also explained exactly how he did it. He was also was on time i would love to spread the word that he is a great mechanic thanks pauly ! |

I am a woman and I really don't know much about cars. I have had numerous cars and everytime I went to a shop, I felt like they took advantage and overcharged. After leaving the shop I would have the same problem go wrong or something else would days later. I was referred to Big Pauly through a friend and I can say I have the best mechanic in the world. He is always polite, kind and best of all honest. I have taken my cars to him thinking I had a major problem and he has taken care of it and it was usually something small. The other places I had gone to always charged an arm and a leg for things I found out through Paul I never needed, or they overcharged. I now have a Renntech Mercedes I inherited and I wouldn't be able to afford it if it weren't for Big Pauly. He fixed my brakes and got it running perfect, after I was quoted from a dealer and a repair shop for over $4000. He fixed it at a fraction of the cost. I am soo glad there is a website where I can spread the word. |
